This turn-of-the-century styled band piece gets an arrangement for small 6-part brass ensemble. Scored for trombone soloist plus standard brass quintet as accompaniment, this arrangement gives a trombonist with a lyrical upper register a chance to shine.

A performance option: to obtain a more rounded “period” sound, it is recommended to use conical brass instruments throughout the accompanying ensemble where the trumpet parts are played on cornets and a euphonium is used instead of the trombone.
